User interface (UI) design is the process designers use to build interfaces in software or computerized devices, focusing on looks or style. Designers aim to create interfaces which users find easy to use and pleasurable. UI design refers to graphical user interfaces (GUI’s) and other forms—e.g., voice-controlled interfaces.
Simply put, user interface (UI) is anything a user may interact with to use a digital product or service. This includes everything from screens and touchscreens, keyboards, sounds, and even lights.
User experience (UX) evolved as a result of the improvements to UI. Once there was something for users to interact with, their experience, whether positive, negative, or neutral, changed how users felt about those interactions.
At STRIDE, we seek to build technology that is custom-built, and that marries design and intuition to satisfy the user and empower them with confidence and understanding. We spend a great amount of time on the UI/UX of all of our solutions to ensure that the user achieves the full potential of the developed software solution.
